I love sunsets/sunrises… they remind me of a time I was riding along the M4 seeing my shadow on the road as the sun rose in the sky, the road empty (for once).
Went out the other evening with a client and couldn’t help add this Silhouette into the mix.
Enjoyed photographing the Suzuki GSX-S 1000 at the end of last year with On The Wheel Motorcycles. Heading out to a local location near Shoreham, perfect for the style and edge of this bike.

Very excited to have been awarded a Gold in the monthly SWPP competitions, with the below image of the Harley Davidson detail image of the tank.
There are only a handful of golds awarded from thousands of entries, and these go forward towards the 2016 year awards.
It was exciting to photograph Shane “Shakey” Byrne’s Harley Davidson at Shaw Harley Davidson . Lighting this was pure joy, shaping the different areas of the bike.
I had a small area to work in in the work shop, wanting to keep the bike as the main feature in the image I set the area up as if it was in a studio. One of the main things that clients seem to worry about and often put off having their commission booked in, is finding locations that are going to look awesome with their motorcycle.
With this in mind I am creating this series on the blog showing the behind the scene’s image of the image taken on my iphone (the image represents what the eye see’s when looking at that location) this allows me to show you any location can be awesome with the right lighting and technique.
My brain doesn’t see what everyone else sees it goes on a crazy journey of what this location can be turned into to match the motorcycle and stand out.

I spent the day the other week photographing Harley Davidson’s at Shaw Harley-Davidson near Lewes. They have an amazing place with a beautiful show room, custom workshop and a section for parts.
One of the bikes that caught my eye and I couldn’t help but want to photograph was the Road King 2016, this is the standard model.
The blue on the paintwork was very eye catching and the badge on the tank just wanted to be photographed.
Even the Petrol Cap needed photographing
